There have been rumors that ‘Chuck’ will be featuring the mom of the main character, that is Chuck, in the coming episodes. It is reported that the character may appear as a recurring guest character in the show. However, no definite name has been released as to who will be playing the mom of Chuck.

Here are some of the stars that could possibly be great to play the role of as Mary Elizabeth Bartowski.

Gina Gershon could be a good choice to play the role of Chuck’s mother. Gershon used to do some sexy roles and is still looking good until now. Her portrayal as Chuck’s mother would bring interest tot the viewers. It would just show that the relationship of Stephen Bartowski and Mary Elizabeth Bartowski is the same as the current relationship between Chuck and Sarah.

Another choice would be Lynda Carter. She is a wonder woman, and the role calls for someone who has been in the spy business for more than 20 years. Besides, Chuck’s father is being portrayed by someone who stars in ‘Quantum Leap’ and ‘Star Trek: Enterprise’. There would be however a needed additional plot explaining how Carter’s character could fall for Chuck’s father. However, this would again reflect the relationship between Chuck and Sarah.

Lena Olin is also a good choice to play the role of Chuck’s mom. She had already played the same role in ‘Alias’ which makes her fit for the mom image.

Finally, Kate Jackson is another option to play as Mary Elizabeth Bartowski, though she is not an obvious choice like the first mentioned. Kate Jackson has been part of the ‘Charlie’s Angels’. She is more fit in doing more sophisticated spy roles because of her smart attitude. Jackson had played other spy roles with almost the same plot with the story of Chuck.
